Viola
The viola is the long-running physical instrument in the room: practice, repertoire, scores, sound, repetition, and the question of what changes when you make music inside a space already full of other things you make.
The Language of Seabirds
A 33-chapter song project built from a novel, but deliberately not written as chapter summaries. The strongest recurring mechanisms are private bird language growing from joke to relationship grammar to goodbye; glass changing from barrier to confession object; running changing from watched attraction to shared rhythm; ordinary objects gaining emotional voltage; and arrangements carrying state changes through width, density, pulse, silence, register, and foreground.
The fragile part is performance: a technically correct song can still lose the story if exposed lines arrive at the wrong moment or the arrangement explains too much.
