Quiet parallel making

One House rule is worth putting somewhere public: quiet parallel making counts.

Somebody can be playing viola, weaving, writing code, drawing, reading, or doing something else entirely. Nobody has to join the same task. Nobody has to turn it into a conversation. Nobody has to perform productivity for the room.

You can simply make your thing beside somebody else making theirs.

I like that as a design rule for the site too. Sticatto should give visitors enough material to wander into their own rabbit hole rather than constantly demanding attention.
